The senses, the body's own frame and the hands, in three trios: a plumb line set true inside a leaning stone batter, a tide gauge whose rise the chevrons hide until the stamps make it show, chalk lines ranked by length rather than by look, a bearing pointed from the hour you stand at on a dial that never turns, the one wrong entry in a walk log that came back facing wrong, a marble's pocket forecast before it leaves the spiral, cloths whose corners must meet, bearers under a hinged bar, and a pack that must stay level past the third village.

Optics and photography, across a darkroom, a lens bench and an emulsion tray: splitting a roll when every development step also delivers grain, ordering the night's jobs and the safelight so nothing open meets the wrong light, a pinhole whose smaller hole is softer, a test strip that must answer whatever time is true, slides filed by why more glass will not help, a frame rate and shutter angle that make every wheel tell its own story, a roll developed together after its frames were exposed alone, a paper grade that depends on the burning, and a stereo pair where nothing may touch the frame.

Signals and broadcasting: keying a cable through the printed smear at battery price, ordering relay throws so no intermediate pattern breaks a bearing cap, thinning a printed crowd that interferes with itself, a sky-wave reach that is an annulus so nearness is the obstruction, a propagation window closed from both sides, a phase-blind sampler that must hear the same station from any ten seconds, one crystal in common across every station pair, a mast raise that lifts a knife edge into the grazing band, and the channel that chooses your shadow.

Computing history: Amsler's planimeter (a sign error is a wrong object), punched-card collating, brush-encoder skew, telegraph codes through a one-letter garble, Williams-tube regeneration as a temporal ledger, the polyphase tape ladder read backwards, the self-eroding instruction word, d'Ocagne's nomogram with a tick-limited reader, the add-only worksheet's check plan, time-as-address placement and the printed carriage adversary.

Education and examination: halt-stream against a printed rival, composing for a marking-scheme automaton, Burley's obligationes, buggy-procedure induction, CAT item exposure (the question wears out), Leitner backlog spirals, Angoff borderline inhibition, Scripps elimination cascades.

Money and markets: bottomry inverted seniority, the emit family's first ally-reader, index divisor certificates, Regulation 1103/97 triangulation, tontine ledger reconstruction.

Weather and navigation: oscillation-versus-persistence tacking, TAF-grammar forecasts against a mechanical decoder (silence is a forecast), the altimeter lie, swell-dispersion ranging, monsoon onset protocol design, seiche modes, race-hour scheduling.

Randomizers and machines: the halt-stream verb, Blackwell–Hodges against a modelled guesser, Diaconis–Keller symmetry on the solid stage, Pascal–Fermat 1654, von Neumann unbiasing, kleroterion guarantee design, water-hammer echo pacing.

The built-environment intake — the Gv repair the catalogue needed: Robbins one-way streets, sky-exposure planes, Bolker–Crapo bracing, Heyman thrust lines, tensegrity, Blondel stair bands.

Law and medicine machinery: triage re-sorting shipped mechanics-first under the register tone gate, Denison conventions, NEAD kidney chains, quorum pincers, cold-chain routing, Snow-style anomaly deduction with abstract-map copy.

Twelve modelled-reader, regime, rulebook and convention types — referee_reads (the FIE priority automaton) is the emitted flagship.

Twenty-four types, twelve of them the first builds from the Cycle 5 addendum: karuta kimariji, block-bell protocol, SECDED, Arom rhythmic oddity, the Dresden Codex Venus table, Wang Zhen typecase, Burnside counting, DRM false memory.

Twenty-five more types across reckoning (Maya and Egyptian numerals), world board games, reshuffle-shutter working memory, executive function, metacognition, solid bodies, rotation and silent phonology.

The first build wave: 17 new types, all of catalogue wave 1, from eight builders in isolated worktrees merged by a keep-both resolver.

The instrument is inhabited.

Engine integrity overhaul shipped as the first installable build: 5 of 16 types had no validator (~44% of days unwinnable), wrong answer keys, unsolvable word ladders and an invalid 6×6 sudoku generator were found and fixed.
